Michael Matta has been composing music for film and live performances for over a decade.  He has studied composition and orchestration at University of Massachusetts, UCLA, and privately under various composers. He moved to Los Angeles in 2005 and began working as an audio engineer on many scoring sessions throughout LA. Many of these sessions took place at the legendary Sony, Fox, and Warner Bros scoring stages as well at many composer's studios. Matta has a strong passion for orchestral writing and a hybrid style that includes both orchestra and synthesis. His composition style is well suited to the ever-evolving world of modern filmmaking.
